Like a university desperately seeking students, Newtown is opening up on Sunday 8 October and putting its wares out on display. For one ticket price, you can take advantage of over 20 activities, including tea tasting at Toby’s Estate, a sweet treats workshop with Chef Paul Hudson (Danks Street Depot), hoola-hoop lessons, Afro-Latin dancing, massage, yoga, life-coaching and more. All the proceeds go to the Groundwork Foundation charity, which supports “grassroots education projects for children across the world.” See newtownopen.com for more.
