The seminal underground label Get Physical runs the risk of turning from noun to adjective - “that track is very Get Physical-esque”, “gosh, that was Get Physically good.” Tastemakers will continue to name-drop those two magic words long after the term ‘minimal’ has lost its titillating sheen. With DJ T, Booka Shade, Chelonis Jones, M.A.N.D.Y. and some enticing new signings, you can see where the strength lies. To celebrate four years of being hot shit, ze Germans are issuing Get Physical Vol. 2, compiled and mixed by M.A.N.D.Y. men Patrick Bodmer and Phillipp Jung. You can pick up the CD from 24 April on Get Physical/Stomp. To catch the duo in action, get along to MOS #03 at Home on Saturday 22 April or Voodoo Disco at Watermark, Melbourne, on Anzac Day Tuesday 25 April.
