'I always had the feeling that making music was some mystical process that only certain people can do,' says Linus. 'But it isn't. This project says, I love these records and I want to make records inspired by them. There is never any massive claim to original material - just an inspiration to be involved in what comes next.' Following the phenomenal crossover success of Mylo's 'Destroy Rock n Roll' album , comes Breastfed Records next release - the debut album from label co-owner Linus Loves.

Pushing things forward while continually re-contextualising, Linus has been sonically reworking others (with remixes this year for Plant Life, Mattafix, Husky Rescue, Ran Shani and Mylo) whilst envisioning & producing "Stage Invader" over the past 18 months.

The album is a heady mix, embalmed with the hedonism, nonchalance and emotionalism of the eighties , that features state of the art midnight club tracks & hook heavy electro pop, bubbling synths & FM friendly vocal samples, with influences & inspirations that come from Siouxie & the Banshees, Fleetwood Mac, Bobby O, Pet Shop Boys & Atari Video Games.

'VH1' is an instrumental monster which boast the guitar lines borrowed from Fleetwood Mac's 'Big Love' & a breakdown inspired by the same groups track 'Family Man'. The Terrace is an instrumental cover of Pet Shop Boys, Bobby O produced, 1984 single One More Chance. Rock Chk features the famous cascading guitar line form Siouxie & The Banshees track Israel while. One More Chance featuring the vocals of Dan Whitford of Australias Cut Copy & connects ultra-poppy Eighties emotionalism with a driving electro bedrock..

Linus Loves is currently on tour with Mylo in the UK throughout May & June.
