For the'365' residency-based tour, Lee will be taking one to two month-long residences in each city and collaborate with local producers and inviting local guest DJs and PA's in varied locales such as: Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Sydney, New York, Denver, Florence and Ibiza. His experiences and collaborations will be released on vinyl throughout the year and a 2xCD compilation album alongside a full album of new, exclusive tracks from the tour will be released in June 2006.
The '365' tour kicked off in Hong Kong where Lee first honed his DJ career which led straight into the 2005 Ibiza season. Following on throughout the US with further stops in Florence and Buenos Aires.
Now the '365' World Tour makes it's Australian debut in Sydney and as usual Lee will be bringing his own special cocktail of twisted, funked-up, filthy house music. Playing at several different events, within the residing city, Sydney. Burridge will showcase his inimitable style kicking off at The Metro and following a week later at the inaugural Musica Summer Series Boat Party. Taking in Melbourne, Adelaide and with more parties to be announced.
As one of the most formidable DJs to have hit the electronic and progressive house genre in recent times, Burridge's playlist covers anything from the evolution of electronic to dirty to tech house with the odd breakbeat track thrown in. As long as it's good - he will play it. His illustrious career has already spanned over a decade becoming one of the darlings on and off the circuit and bringing the clubbers back out into the scene wherever he plays.
As one of the most revered and entertaining DJs in the business Lee began his career and gained local stardom (and the reputation of pioneering the club scene) in Hong Kong. This led to residencies and special guest appearances when any of the big club tours where in town, most notably Cream, Ministry, Malibu Stacey and Northern Exposure.
Not content with his mantel in Hong Kong, Lee soon became an integral part of the infamous full moon parties at Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand. The driving talents of Lee then saw him descending upon and conquering the South American and US circuit (including the Miami WMC 2004/05) and of course the place to be on every worthy DJ list is Ibiza, playing at the world recognized Space club nights.
Closer to home, Lee has been one busy boy having gained the Tyrant residency at Fabric, with fellow tyrants Sasha and Craig Richards, as well as playing at The Bomb and Cream with numerous guest appearances at other clubs and festivals such as Gatecrasher, Sugarshack, Homelands, Godskitchen, and large scale festivals worldwide that include Love Parade, SF and Exit Festival.
So with stellar performances already behind him and his recognized slick electronic dirty house style plus his CD compilations such as Nubreed, 24:7, and This Is Everybody! On Tour with Sander Kleinenberg this gives great appetite for the up and coming 365 World Tour and a welcome return to Australia in 2006.
And that is the life of a DJ from Dorset. A small town in the south west of England, Dorset became the training ground for Lee Burridge who has seen his twenty year career expand from being the "IT" DJ in Hong Kong into a global, jet-setting party maker. And it stands to only get better with his much anticipated '365' World Tour.
