Philadelphia's King Britt is one of the founding fathers of contemporary electronica, broken beat and nu-jazz music. Starting his career as DJ for the Grammy-award winning Digable Planets, Britt is an international sensation, rocking dancefloors, constantly touring the best clubs across the planet.

A leading producer and composer who has remixed everyone from Curtis Mayfield to Macy Grey, Britt takes fans deep on his new fifteen track techno-inspired project, 'The Nova Dream Sequence'.

This album is a foray into interpretation and King Britt uses techno as his language of choice to explain his science fiction inspired dreams. Rather then distinguishing one dream from the next, he instead labels them 'Dream 1', 'Dream 2' and so on.

With melodic textures and driving rhythms, King shows the world his diversity and smooth transition into yet another genre of his music home. What sets this sexytechno aside from most will be the tour he is scheduled to embark on this Spring. As a completely live show, King Britt, with the addition of band mate Tim Motzer, will be playing guitar and samplers and VJ Dan Potthast will perform visuals influenced by TRON and Blade Runner.

'The Nova Dream Sequence' to be released on Compost Records September 7th.
Tour dates TBA.
