In April 2005, the inaugural Come Together Festival was a sell-out. Round two, in September of the same year, also reached capacity. This time round, the party will span the Queen’s birthday weekend of Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June. Come Together will again be an all ages gig, featuring over 50 Australian bands and a sprinkling of international talent. The first day will showcase high-adrenaline rock, whether that be punk or metal. The Butterfly Effect, Fat Wreck Chords’ Strung Out (USA) and Gyroscope head a sizeable bill of bands. Sunday returns to the feel of the first two festivals, with Regurgitator leading the charge alongside The Herd, Magic Dirt, Trans Am (USA), Augie March, Ratcat and many more. It’ll all happen across three indoor stages and two DJ rooms. For details, see cometogether.com.au. You can pick up early bird single day tickets or Weekender Passes from bigtopsydney.com or Ticketek.
