BIG DAY OUT is big on adventures, and musical adventurers come no more adventurous than HOT CHIP.

Nominated for the Mercury Music Prize for their second and latest album, The Warning, HOT CHIP are Londoners Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Al Doyle, Owen Clarke and Felix Martin. After dropping their debut album Coming on Strong in 2004, HOT CHIP took the great leap with The Warning, which NME called "the finest album of electronic rock since Mylo's Destroy Rock & Roll."

HOT CHIP have toured with LCD Soundsystem, Mylo, Stereolab, Goldfrapp, and even Australia's own Presets. And just like on vinyl, it's impossible not to love their wry, mad-scientist approach to music.
