Tomas has been djing in his hometown Kopenhagen for the last few years playing house-clubs including the legendary Vega, Rust, Pan and LevelCPH. But he's certainly not your average House - DJ (or else he wouldn't be on Gomma….of course). He started playing drums at the age of 11 and played in several funk, rock and jazz bands during his teens. In the late Nineties his attention was drawn to electronic music and he started developing his skills both as a house-music producer and as a DJ. His sound as a producer is, due to his background as a drummer, very rhythm-driven, and ranges from straight up drum machine madness to dirty live based productions.

Tomboy's words about himself
I have played drums since I was 10 years old, but at some point in my late teens I decided, that funk and rock was boring. After having owned a recordplayer, an Atari and an Akai mono-sampler a couple of years, I slowly started djing and producing some house. Since then I have been doing loads of club oriented music, both alone and together with my old friend Kasper Bjørke. After some years in the straight clubscene the live music was slowly catching in on me again, and I realised that maybe rock and funk wasnt that boring - I needed some more organic and analog and that's where Tomboy came a long. Since then I have been touring like maaaad, as a drummer and doing a lot club tracks on labels like Gomma, Kitsune, Get Physical Music and soon Turbo.
