GHB Users' Photos to be Published

In a controversial move, Hardware and KillRockStar have threatened to publish the photographs of anyone requiring medical attention on Saturday night due to the consumption of GHB.

In a move that they hope will steer patrons away from using the drug at their events (or indeed at all) they have issued a warning that "anyone using GHB and requiring medical attention on Saturday night for GHB will be put on public notice after the event in press and our website, as well as banned from future events. Anyone found dealing drugs will be handed over to the Police WITHOUT FAIL. We are not saying this message to cover our arse, we are saying this message cause we HATE GHB and what it does to your health, our scene and we WILL photograph you and make it public so the punters you ruin this event for, will come after you, not blame us or the council if these events cannot continue in future. BE WARNED"

The promoters have taken this unprecedented step after the Ballarat Base Hosptial has objected to further events at Kryal Castle due to lack of organisation in the past and 4 ambulances last December for GHB. There is a serious risk that the council will not issue another permit for the castle should there be further issues at this year's event.

Due to this year's event being an over 18's event, there are no buses this year to Kryal Castle. For those hoping to get there by public transport, take the Spencer St V-Line train to Ballarat Station, and a small cab-fare to the castle. There will be a bus in the morning from the event at 7am back to Ballarat Station. The promoters have assured festival goers they are looking at ways a bus can be made available for 2007

Promoters have also issued a warning that passouts are limited to 1 hour every 2 hours. There will be no entry into the castle after 5am. So if your outside at this point, you wont be able to gain entry. No BYO, no fires / fireworks, and no parking outside the carpark are the other rules in place for this 'knight' of paradise.
