Frontier Touring Company backs Big Day Out

The Frontier Touring Company has issued a press release expressing their solidarity with the Big Day Out promoters in their legal battle with eBay against scalpers. Managing Director Michael Gudinski is quoted as saying, “Ticket scalpers are bottom feeding scum. Promoters have the right to protect their event and ensure fans are able to secure tickets at the correct price… It’s time to strike back at scalpers and we wish Big Day Out the best of luck in protecting their rights against eBay.” eBay is currently suing Big Day Out over new anti-scalping restrictions that mean tickets sold-on via the website will not be valid.
