Direct a DJ Shadow video

Here’s an offer too good for any aspiring filmmaker to turn down - DJ Shadow has put the call out for fans to submit videos for his next single This Time (I’m Gonna Try It My Way), a soul-funk jam that harks back to The Private Press. Submissions can cover anything from “animations, off-cuts, brief sketches, film scenes, caught-on-camera clips, out-takes, voice-overs, random footage, whether humorous, dark, edgy, juvenile, insightful or thought provoking… it’s really more about the execution of simple ideas.” Entries should be uploaded to djshadowvideo.com, but you’d better hurry as the closing date is Friday 13 October. The winner will be chosen personally by Shadow and will receive a £1000 prize as well as global promotion of the video.
