Chicks on Speed to tour

They might not play guitars, but they certainly know how to entertain, confuse and throw a thick coat of art theory over the whole electro-indie-techno-disco-metal-fancy-pants business. Chicks on Speed have put together a compilation called Girl Monsters, celebrating the history and future of women’s “creative audio outputs”, from original punks like Siouxsie Sioux to electro rockers like CoS and Peaches. They’re bringing their anarchic stage show to Australia this November with “Elizabethan alien psychotrope” Planningtorock and Kiwi art collective Batrider. Catch them in Sydney at Rebel Rebel on Saturday 25 November.
