Carolyn Harding Honored for Achievement in Performing Arts

(New York, USA) On July 23rd Nassau County officials will recognize Carolyn Harding for her artistic achievements during the annual African-American Ethnic Night being held at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York. Four honorees will be cited by Nassau County Executive, Thomas Suozzi, for outstanding achievement in the Performing Arts: Carolyn Harding (international recording artist), Carolyn Brown (actress), Louis Carter (playwright), and David McLean (poet/spoken word performer). Following the presentation of awards, there will be a concert by The Gospel Experience directed by Dr. Alfred Miller.

Carolyn Harding's impressive vocal career began in 1977 in New York. Her musical repertoire spans R&B, Pop, Dance, Gospel, Jazz and Blues and some of her earlier works include vocals for Sal Soul Orchestra, Jocelyn Brown, and Little Louis Vega. For more than 20 years, Harding has recorded music for some of the top Dance music labels in the world including Warner Brothers, Jellybean Soul/Sony, King Street Sounds, Zedd Records, Ultra Records, and Plaza Records to name a few. She has released dozens of chart-topping hits from the 1980's to today and her legacy continues.

Currently, Carolyn has recorded her latest musical effort, "All Because of You", a new single soon to be released on Deep Haven Music. This will mark Harding's R&B debut after establishing such a strong presence in the dance music world for almost three decades in 11 countries.
