Aquasky prove themselves team players with new album

UK breaks outfit Aquasky favour the low frequencies and big fuck-off basslines, and that’s the order of the day on their new album Team Players. The guys have collaborated with sought-after producers and vocalists from the breakbeat, hip-hop and drum and bass camps to craft the varied LP. Their collaborations with Meat Katie on Overneath and Pendulum on Girls And Boys bode well for the remaining tracklist. Team Players is released March 13 on Passenger through Inertia. In other Aquasky business, the trio recently set the world record for the most tracks mixed into five minutes on Annie Mac’s BBC radio show. They managed 153 tunes in the timeframe, pipping DJ Zinc’s previous record of 83.
