Tickled Pink - Fri 9th Sept

Tickled Pink is back for their second instalment on Friday 9th September.

Our opening night exceeded all of our expectations and we wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks to those who turned up and boogied with us until the wee hours of the morning. For all you Pink Ticklers that want that extra day to cure hangovers, we've decided to kick things off a little earlier and do our thing on a Friday night.

This month, Jeff Tyler (Phreakin) is joining us as our 'Flavour of the Month'.

That's right! You asked, and now we're delivering.

Jeff Tyler can be described as one of the most groundbreaking DJs in Australia and the principal exponent of the Techno scene in Melbourne. He has delved into many and varied sounds as the boundaries of dance continue to expand. In the 13+ years Tyler has been DJing, he has played with all the big names, which includes the likes of Laurent Garnier, CJ Bolland, Carl Cox, Derrick May, Sneak, Derek Carter and Stacey Pullen to name a modest few.

Since the mid-'90s, Tyler's been running Phreakin', one of Melbourne's longest running parties which has seen artists from Kaskade and Brett Johnson through to Stacey Pullen and Chris Lum. DJing is literally Tyler's obsession and he will bring to Tickled Pink one of the most extensive and comprehensive record collections in Australia, as well as his self-proclaimed "super tuff phunk rock house" sound.

We can't wait for him to hit the decks.

Tyler will be joined on the night by the usual Tickled Pink female suspects, Miss Chris, Sass and Danni B. The ladies have been busy stocking up their record crates with new sounds, similar to those experienced by the punters at the first TP.
