You may not know this, but the worlds longest slinky (you do know what a slinky is, don't you--) is 21 meters long.
And it was made in Melbourne, which by an odd coincidence is where exactly where you will find the next "big thing" in all things Slinky!

5 years of hard partying would soften most of us, but Slinky just keeps getting tougher. Saturday 19th November sees them show Melbourne's QBH just how tough they are, with an awesome line up of some of the best international and local dj's.

Headlining the event is Italian dj, producer and remixer, Mauro Picotto, widely considered to be the best techno dj/producer in the world. Mauro arrives in Melbourne fresh from his residency at the legendary Meganite and soon after his much anticipated third artist cd release.

"High quality", "energetic" and "crowd pleasing" are keywords that have been used to describe Marco V' s unique dj sets. Marco V has been a driving force in the global electronic music scene for the past ten years. Fans of all genres recognise his ability to blend his favourite types of music into a distinctive and unique sound that I am sure will be raising the roof off the freshly renovated QBH!

Dutch dj and producer Benjamin Bates brings brings a slightly more tech-house feel to the night. Benjamin has worked with Marco V on a number of productions over the years and the two will compliment each other well.

Slinky just would not be Slinky if the man behind the global empire did not take to the decks! Dave Lea describes his style as "Anything from trance to techno, through to the harder stuff, so long as it has a good groove". Melbourne has some special memories for Dave as it was here that he first played his first big gig to a crowd of up to 10 000 people with Gatecrasher!

Local stars Hellraiser and Scott Alert complete the line up on the main floor.

Early bird tickets are already sold out so make sure you don't waste any more time!
