Having conquered their home country of Japan, where they are proud to call
themselves 'the nations favourite electronic music radio station'
Samurai.fm (www.samurai.fm) are now planning to take over the UK starting
(of course.) here in London.

Samurai.fm Sessions UK will see the station set up their first UK club
residency at East London's super trendy hangout Herbal, set deep in the
heart of fashion central. Don't let this put you off cos each month
Samurai.fm residents will be joined by artists and labels featured on the
station representing the true sounds of Samurai.fm

The music policy is simple: Quality electronic sounds from all genres from
breaks to hip hop to house to drum n bass and back again as represented by
Samurai.fm, put simply. You'll be hearing some very cool music.

All events will be recorded for broadcast on the station a couple of weeks
after the party so clubbers will be able to relive their favourite sets or
hear what they missed!

For the launch party of 3rd March, the main room will lean heavily towards
the sounds of breaks with Samurai residents TCR Records will be headlining
the main room with a special appearance from the mighty JDS. Joining JDS
for a rare London date will be Kingsize/Lot 49's Dylan Rhymes playing a
very special live set as never before heard in a club. Completing the
downstairs line-up is Samurai.fm's break beat duo Canine Sounds doing what
they do best, laying down some fierce breaks.

Upstairs is electro with Ben 'Fat Trucker' Rymer from the Gucci Sound
system joining the home-grown sound of samurai with some of the station's
Japanese artists entertaining, Ben, best known for his Fat Truckers work
has been playing of late with the great Riton as Gucci Sound system, the
duo fast gaining a massive following with their DexnFX electro shows.
Teqnicolor Sound's Maxrelaxx will be playing his usual selection of
'never
heard it before but fuck it's cool' minimal electechno early on before the
newest samurai stars, just back from their tour of Poland, The Future
Sound
of Clapton take over the decks with the freshest east London electro
sounds.

STOP PRESS-- A late addition to the upstairs Electro fest is samurai.fm's
most popular artist and Japan's number 1 DJ the one and only Numanoid
A.K.A
DJ Tsuyoshi playing one of his very special rip roaring electro sets
bringing the original samurai's sounds to Shoreditch!
