Us3 RETURNS WITH FIRST SAMPLE-FREE RELEASE APRIL 26

Us3, the brainchild of London-based Geoff Wilkinson is gearing up to release
its first US album in 7 years, Questions. Us3's 2001 title An Ordinary Day
In An Unusual Place was only available as an import stateside.

The group first made its way into mainstream consciousness with its clever
sampling of Herbie Hancock's "Cantaloupe Island" track. The infectious
rhythm and club meets cafe coolness of "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)"
catapulted the band's debut album on the Blue Note label Hand On The Torch
to multi-million sales status around the world, giving Blue Note its first
US platinum disc ever.

In addition to his stellar production, arranging and musical skills, Geoff
has an incredible ear for vocal talent and new additions to the Us3 family
Mpho and Reggi Wyns are sure to please.

Mpho is a vocalist and songwriter from South Africa who has collaborated
with a wide variety of artists including the legendary South African singer
Miriam Makeba, jazz pianist Bheki Mseleku, British urban sensation Ms.
Dynamite, and West London broken beat collective Bugz In The Attic. Mpho's
subtle tones express phenomenal diversity, from hip-hop and funk to jazz and
folk, while her writing offers commentary on issues ranging from global and
social to personal.

Reggi Wyns was born and bred in Brooklyn, New York and is a multifaceted
artist. His recording credits include two independent albums with highly
acclaimed New York rap crew LIB. Reggi is also an accomplished actor. His
credits include a co-starring role in Fox Searchlight's 2002 film Brown
Sugar, the 2001 Miramax film Serendipity, and a guest appearance on NBC's
Law And Order: SVU.

Questions is Us3's first sample free release because, says Geoff, "It's
important to keep evolving. There's been a decreasing reliance on samples
with each Us3 album, and Questions is the culmination of that. And it was
kinda nice working with some live musicians rather than dead ones!"

The album features two new versions of Cantaloop; Cantaloop 2004 (bossa mix)
and Cantaloop 2004 (soul mix). An excellent animated video for the soul mix
is available for viewing at www.us3.com. Questions is scheduled for an
April 26 release via Megaforce/Ryko distribution with possible late spring
US tour dates to follow.
