On August 29th, witness the return of the most controversial & influential group in hip-hop history.
Public Enemy are back with their first studio album in more than two years, Rebirth of a Nation.

Original members Chuck D, Professor Griff, and Flavor Flav reunited for the album that will undoubtedly be one of this year's most significant records. Most notably, production on Rebirth of A Nation is entirely handled by political rapper Paris, and features guest appearances from Dead Prez, Kam , Immortal Technique , MC Ren (NWA) and The Conscious Daughters.

With albums from It takes a Million to Hold Us Back and Fear of a Black Planet, Public Enemy rewrote the rules of hip-hop, becoming the definitive rap group of all time. It was their 2002 album release Revolverlution which found the long overdue pairing of the group with fellow revolutionary hip-hop artist Paris on the lead single. That effort set the tone for the collaboration between Public Enemy, Paris and Dead Prez on Paris' current album project, Sonic Jihad.

Selling millions of records along the way, Public Enemy pioneered a variation of hardcore hip-hop that was musically and politically revolutionary. Rebirth Of A Nation is an exercise in controlled chaos and Paris pulls out all of the stops to present his finest work yet for what is arguably the most important hip-hop group ever.

Rebirth of a Nation is out August 29 on Guerilla Funk Records via Stomp.
