For those of you who were blown away by Mathew Jonson's set on Sunday morning at Earthcore, and for those of you who missed it, you will be pleased to hear that you can catch him again this weekend at Honkytonks. I personally didn't catch all of his set, but my buddy wouldn't shut up about how good Matthew was and even decided that he liked minimal so much that from now on absolutely everything he liked was going to be 'minimal'.

Canadian born Mathew Jonson has been playing various instruments since the beginning of time, and at the ripe young age of 12 began to experiment with electronic sounds. Since then he's been receiving countless acclaim for his production of such tracks as Decompression, Alpine Rocket, Marionette and Return of the Zombie Bikers to name a few.

His style generally isn't referred to as 'minimal' as I previously. Instead he is better known for his amalgam of styles, incorporating techno, jazz, house and d&b to create his trademark 'tech-fusion' sound. He plays 100% live and is apparently not to be missed.
