While America has been hard at play in the post-SXSW/Coachella frenzy, northern England's Maximo Park have been hard at work...taking over their native UK...

This week sees their current single, 'Grafitti' in the #1 position on the NME Chart! In conjunction with this achievement, the band will be performing on Top of the Pops this Friday.

Early State-side fans of the band are raving already:
...I wouldn't be surprised if the true vitality on display here [changes] the minds of many anti-UK skeptics. Maximo are full-on fun, hot, and sneaky; before you know it, they'll take over...
Jack Rabid, The Big Takeover.

If by some fluke the single 'Apply Some Pressure' doesn't make superstars out of Maximo Park, A Certain Trigger is packed with plenty of other pop gems that will make dance floors erupt on both sides of the Atlantic.'
