Return To New York promoter Robin Scott Lawson and his Fuse fellow promoter Oscar Fullone chatted to Skrufff this week about their upcoming second party at London's cavernous Koko club and revealed they remain ambiguous about adopting Bluewater Centre style strict dress codes.

"There's a lot of ego's in London so the dress code is wear whatever you fucking you like," said Robin, "Apart from hoodies (hooded tops- slang ed) of course".

"I enjoy having a crowd that like's to be entertained and it's also good to see people make the effort to dress up for the party but I want it to be about the music not how good people look," he explained.

The Saturday night monthly begins with three live acts-Colder, Caged Baby and Menlo Park on the former Camden Palace stage, followed by DJ sets from man-of-the-moment Mylo and Oscar.

"I think people are bored with just looking at a DJ putting on records that's why the live element is so important because it makes it more entertaining and gives people something to talk about," said Robin.

"I have been DJ'ing for 18 years now and feel really encouraged with what's happening with music right now with a true live /DJ crossover," Oscar agreed," In the areas I'm working in, that's what's keeping people going out."
