Can you believe we have out grown our Sunday night-

After a year of awesome Sunday night fun and the occasional public holiday Lasergun and The "Bling Bling" Kids from Honkytonks are fucking over the moon to present Hakan Lidbo Live.

The Artist Know As Hakan Lidbo is by far one of the most interesting live acts to travel to this part of the world and his "anything goes" attitude puts him more than a step ahead of the rest. From electro, techno, house and ambient Hakan has done it all. But don't take our word for it; we've been wrong before so hear what his label had to say...

Hakan Lidbo was recently awarded as one of the 100 best producers of
electronic music in the world by Urb Magazine/USA. He is frequently referred
to as "the busiest man in the business" and his discography holds more than150 records and stretches from avant-garde click n cuts to well produced vocal pop house. Hakan has made music for commercials, film, TV shows, computer games and 3 ballets. The new single "Planet Dada" by Swiss cult-duo Yello is produced by Hakan Lidbo. He has remixed artists like Kool Keith, Ashley Beedle, Si Begg, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Tube Jerk, Ennio Morricone, John Selway and Fatboy Slim. With his most recent projects released by local label AKA ltd (Artist Known As) his Mechanimal Ep is off the wall.

Laserguns own golden boy, the Belgium fantastic, electro static, Dave Pham will be playing a mini 3 Hour Challenge. And because it's our first time on a Friday we have added a special guest... Melbourne's own Deejay super weight Boog$. It'll be his first time at a Lasergun, but he's a honkytonks veteran who never disappoints. Plus the-after-work-master Mr Geoffrey on warm up from early afternoon.

So, bring your Goldie looking chains and don't forget you tennis headbands....
Game. Set. Match. Hakan Lidbo Live...
Honkytonks on Friday 25th February 200FIVE
