Judge Jules Avoids Alcohol Related Injury

Judge Jules narrowly escaped being crushed by a 200lb drunken woman just before Christmas as he and his family prepared for take off on a 747 bound for Australia. The inebriated lady collapsed on top of the passenger next to him, Jules wrote on his online diary this week, before being removed from the plane after receiving a harsh dressing down from the captain.

"Little Jake (Jules' 5 year old son) looked very confused, and helpfully told a cabin attendant "My Daddy's drunk too... he drinks wine and beer'," said Jules, "The honesty of kids is hilarious."

The renowned champagne caner is now back in England taking a rare break from his relentless DJing schedule though told Skrufff this week that he has no plans to change his usual drinking habits.

"I look after myself in other ways, ie going to the gym at least 4 times a week and always eating healthily," he said.

"When I'm working in clubs I always have a drink, but whilst at home I drink very moderately or not at all," he added. "Either you've got an addictive personality or you haven't, and thankfully this has never been a problem for me."

The Radio 1 star revealed he's more likely to get a hangover after watching his beloved Arsenal, with alcohol rarely becoming an issue in his day to day clubbing life.

"One or two DJ's drug problems might a source of discussion, but I've never talked about problem drinking with any of my peers," Jules explained.

"There are a couple of DJs whose drunkenness has ruined both their sets and their relationships with promoters, but this is the exception rather than the rule," he added.
