The man behind the huge international house anthem
'Strings of Life' is coming to Melbourne.

It's been one of the most played records of the year.

Ever since Soul Central turned their attention to Derrick May's classic anthem, Strings of Life, Soul Central have been in demand.

The brains behind Soul Central is Andy Ward.
The name Andy Ward first appeared in 93 on a small flyer for a new Sunday morning dance club called Marco Polo's. This venue went on to become the country's pioneering Sunday morning venue, bringing five hundred clubbers through it's doors each week for a day of sheer madness. Word of Birmingham's newest DJ spread quickly, since making his name all those years ago his popularity continues to grow so that Andy Ward is now regarded by most as the Midland's number one Soulful House DJ.
A Soul Heaven resident from it's opening at the Ministry of Sound, Andy's dedication to soulful house saw the Southport Weekender book him in November 03 to play the main room, warming up for Masters at Work. A call from Louie Vega after the event congratulating him on a superb debut and warm up slot was the best reaction any DJ could have asked for.

For seven years Andy presented one of the most acclaimed shows on UK radio for Galaxy 102.2, Now fully relocated to Spain with his family he presents a weekly show on TKO 91.9fm the Costa Blanca's newest and destined to be biggest English speaking radio station.

Not only is Andy a natural at presenting his show in the studio, he has now successfully moved into his own production work with great success.
Andy has had record contracts with Strictly Rhythm, Masters at Work, Henry Street, Soundmen on Wax & 4 Liberty records, and several licensing deals under his belt. He is also co-owner of Clean Cut Records which fires out quality soulful House music and has the support of the world's leading players.

His latest track as Soul Central was without doubt one of the biggest club tracks worldwide of 2004. On Defected Records, 'Strings of Life' catapulted Andy into the National UK Charts storming in at an impressive no. 6 in January 2005, and it continues to be heard frequently in our own clubs.

Nationally & Internationally Andy Ward's reputation proceeds him.
Be sure to look him up soon to find out why!
