Basement Jaxx Rock Glastonbury 2005

Glastonbury well and truly kicked off the festival season last weekend, despite a muddy start the sun eventually shone with Mr Eavis himself tipping this years festival as the best yet! For those who didn't see the awesome set from Basement Jaxx, they were without doubt one of the highlights of the show.

The Jaxx were initially invited as special guests of Kylies, however having been diagnosed with Cancer and having to pull out of the show the duo where invited to play the coveted closing set on the Pyramid Stage and as a mark of respect they covered her anthem "Cant Get You Out Of My Head'.

If their Glasto performance was anything to go by, Creamfields is in for a real treat as they perform the headline slot on the main stage at this year's festival. Creamfields 2005 is looking set to be the fastest selling festival to date and already a massive 50% up on ticket sales! The Jaxx will be joined by another Glastonbury favourite Faithless to name but a few
