Situationist art heroine/ global icon Yoko Ono releases a new series of remixes of her classic state-of-the-US-nation anthem 'Hell In Paradise (Part 1)' next month, including productions by Murk (Oscar G and Ralph Falcon), Orange Factory and Minge Binge (aka Pete Lorimer and Juan Martinez).

The typically controversial track, which first appeared in 1985 on her revolutionary album Starpeace, talks of the insanity and chaos of modern society ('Sticking our heads in slime, Thinking we're in our prime'), though 19 years on, remains as relevant and poignant as ever.

"If we try to combat every insanity we'll end up insane ourselves, I think it's important that we ignore it and keep on doing what we believe in, instead of listening to others or getting angry about the insane mode of others," Yoko told Skrufff in her latest interview this March.

"We should not be critics we should just do what we believe in, and for that we should try to see reality as it is. Just by being very peaceful, we can actually help the world to be peaceful instead of being violent. Peaceniks tend to be violent because they're so angry, and they just end up joining a different group of violent people, by being different, by being angry. It's very difficult not to be angry and not to be violent but we have to understand that if we want world peace we have to start creating peace," she suggested.

'Hell In Paradise (Part 1)' comes out on June 29 on Mind Train/ Twisted Records.
