Torture Garden Turn On T Shirts

London fetish promoters Torture Garden have added a 'No Cotton T Shirt' rule to their already strict dress code for next weekend's Valentine Ball, at Mass Club, Brixton.

"It's not that we've got anything against T shirts as such, in fact, we wear them outside the club," David TG told Skrufff this week.

"But Torture Garden is about dressing up and exploring your imagination. Faceless casual dress has dominated clubbing for the last decade and we've tried to go against that. Having an enforced dress code forces people, especially men, to think about it and make an effort."

David stressed they'll always consider 'interesting' T shirts though also stressed 'our main pet hate is people wearing boring fetish wear. Average leather or rubber vests and jeans are almost as bad as regular casual wear."

He also warned that no exceptions will be made, including for celebrities.

"We turned Adam Ant away at the Egg party last year for not being dressed up and he was all "but don't you know who I am-" David revealed.

"It was a shame because we like him, but a dress code is a dress code."
