THREE BLIND GEESE TO DELIVER WORLD CLASS BREAKS PARTY

What do Dan Mangan, Brewster B and Keltec all have in common- Starting from May 28th, they'll be living at Broken Home. Situated at Melbourne's hottest and newest events based venue, the Colonial Hotel and appearing the 3rd Friday of every month, will be DJ's Dan Mangan, Brewster B and Keltec.

Located at Brown Alley, just off the corner of Lonsdale and King Streets, these prominent DJ's shared a vision that brings clubbing back to the old days of having fun, enjoying a sense of community, a night that is simple & cheap and, a night that makes you feel like its your first birthday party at MacDonald's - that vision is on the verge of becoming reality.

The concept behind Broken Home, is ultimately to showcase Australian Home Grown talent and to make Australians and Melbournians alike feel patriotic and proud of its own developing and sustainable club culture, without being as dependant on foreign direction as Australian's were once accustomed. The night conceived initially with residents Keltec, Dan Mangan and Brewster B, will eventually expand to support new and established Australian talent that deserves more national exposure than it currently receives.

With the constant complaints by punters that the local Aussie DJ's do it better, Broken Home aims to fuel the driving force behind Australian Made talent abroad and help to improve on Australia's already paramount successes on the international stage; this is the chance for the 'chin-strokers' to not only support, but also enjoy a night of plain and simple fun.

Furthermore, the night aims to provide a night of close comfort, intimacy and fun, with a dress code that is 'as you feel inspired'. But not only that, a range of themed concepts on the night will hope to separate the broken homes from the hordes of clubs already immersed within Melbourne's electronica dance community.

Broken home aims to make it feel like you're at a party and not an elitist club. With welcome goodies at the door including discount vouchers, drink specials, a welcome pack containing an assortment of mixed lollies, an entourage of promoters that would rather enjoy themselves than stick a flyer up your nose, and a finale that promotes a nice warm cup of hot chocolate & marshmallows instead of a recovery party, ensures that the night is going to be more exciting than Survivor All-stars!

Another unique feature of the night will be a guest registry that acts as a focal point for broken home's forthcoming website; where guests and patrons will be asked to fill out their thoughts and comments - using an assortment of coloured crayons - without fear of being placed on some random list to purchase Viagra from Keltec. Instead, these thoughts will be compiled and placed on the website for all to enjoy.

The initial launch party will be at the Colonial Hotel, 240 King Street Melbourne starting on May 28th and continuing on the 3rd Friday of every month thereafter.
