Slip 'n' Slide are proud to present the first ever compilation CD from Solid Groove - currently the hottest UK production / remix outfit around.

Solid Groove aka David Taylor has been honing his skills for the last 5 years at the Slip 'n' Slide studio producing some of the finest underground House music both as Solid Groove and as Switch (with production partner Trevor Loveys of House of 909). Currently getting big support from the likes of Lottie, Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, David Duriez, Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales, Tom Middleton, Gilles Peterson etc - Solid Groove is the DJ's producer and set for big BIG things!

Recent artists given the Solid Groove / Switch treatment have included Kylie, Busta Rhymes, Armand Van Helden, Blaze, Basement Jaxx, Jentina, Mutiny, Audio Bullys, Roy Davis Jr. and Futureshock to name a few.

Solid Groove presents Straight Jackin' is the sound of David DJing - heavily programmed driving rhythms, cheeky samples manipulated all over the mix, and ass-shaking bottom end! This compilation features 2 EXCLUSIVE remixes of classic Blaze tracks commissioned especially for the album (these will be released on highly limited 12" singles to promote the CD) plus numerous tracks from David's Dubsided label exclusive to this CD and some of his special remixes. Both of the recent Switch releases are featured too which can be regularly heard tearing Fabric, Missdemeanours and The Rex up on an almost weekly basis.
