This Friday 3 SeptemberSeptember 3 will be the start of spring this year for Heart Kids Victoria as Brown Alley and Sunny Productions beat together to raise over $10 000 for this almost unknown but very worth charity.
An auxiliary of the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, Heart Kids Victoria Inc. is a non-profit, voluntary organization that offers non-medical support, understanding and information to families who have a child diagnosed with congenital or acquired heart defect or disease. Established in 1990 this self-funded organization raises money purely by memberships, subscriptions, donations and fundraising.
On Friday September 3, Brown Alley in conjunction with Sunny Productions will host the double-edged charity event of the year.... 'a dinner with Heart' - a divine 3 course dinner served from 7pm will include a fashion parade extravaganza showcasing Melbourne label Smurfo, National Labels STUSSY and freshjive, and Kids Label Gumboots, and charity auction, which will be hosted by surprise celebrity guests and auction off unique items such as: 'one of a kind' records donated by DJ Aaron Smiles, signed CD Player courtesy DJ Phil K, boxing glove signed by ex world champ Barry Michael, multiple free tickets, dvd's, cd's from Earthcore, surprise item from the Peter Brock Foundation and showcase from YAMAHA AUSTRALIA. The night will also feature a digital camera giveaway from CASIO!
The $50 a head dinner is expected to attract over 300 people, all coming together to help raise $10 000.
The venue will then open to the public from 11pm for the second phase of the fundraiser - Heart Beatz dance party. Expected to attract over 1000 partygoers, Heart Beatz will host over 25 National, International and local DJ's donating their time for the Heart Kids of Victoria. The party will host local acts including Melbourne best Phil K, the infamous Boogs - Melbourne's most talked about DJ, agent 86, Sunshine, Ferris, Spiro (Earthcore) Toupee, Aaron Smiles, Alias, Heath Meyers, Keltec, Dan Mangan, Brewster and Wolraf, Noyoko and Decoy LIVE, to international stars PQM (USA), Ali (Israel) and Andrreas (Mexico). Heart Beatz will see excited party goes into the early morning, knowing all proceeds of the night will be helping the Heart Kids of Australia.
The dinner is open to the public, however be quick as bookings are limited...come help save an Aussie kid!
