Sex, Lies & Ibiza

One in four British blokes and one in seven girls visiting Ibiza last year claimed to have had holiday sex with two or more lovers, according to a new survey of 1,500 16-35 year olds who visited the island.

The survey for the prestigious British Medical Journal Sexually Transmitted Infections also revealed that more than 1 in 10 of the men claimed to have pulled at least six different partners, in marked contrast to the usual statistics (The Office for National Statistics reckons the average man manages 8 lovers in his entire lifetime).

The discrepancy could be linked to the findings of another recent survey conducted for pizza company Frescett which discovered that almost half of blokes (46%) habitually lied when they found even one girlfriend (usually to the girl).

"Those of the men who did lie tended to pretend they ran their own company," the Standard revealed.

"Or said they drive a Ferrari and had been out with hundreds of women."
