Scan X Goes Online

French techno producer Scan X (aka Stephane Dri) will be launching his website scanx.net from the April 1, offering unreleased tracks, playlists and a guest book, he told Skrufff this week.

"The guest-book is really important to me because it's an opportunity for people to ask me questions of share ideas," said Stephane.

"I'm hoping the site will become a place where people can share ideas and talk with others who make music with technology or people who do research or development of tools to make electronic music."

Ever since launching his musical career 10 years ago, Scan X has remained one of France's most respected electronic producers and has been active on the web since 1995.

"I think the internet is a revolutionary development on a par with the invention of the printing press," he added.

"Sometimes I think to myself 'how did I manage without it before-' I'm hoping that my new website will give others the same satisfaction that the internet gives to me every day."
