One does not usually think of The Hague as a dance capital. The city is best known as the home of the World Court (the judicial arm of the United Nations) where international villains are tried.

However, coming out from The Hague, is also one of modern dance music's hot gun, Sander Kleinenberg, more affectionately known in certain dance music circles as 'The Flying Dutchman" (not to be confused with the 17th century legend of a ghost ship's captain). We had the opportunity to throw Mr Kleininberg a quick email interview prior to his new Renaissance "Everybody Too" album launch and following world tour that would take him down under.

Here's what the Flying Dutchman had to say:

Q. Why did you get into dance music in the first place- What was the turning point that grew into your love for it-

A. Easy chicks and free booze

Q. The title for your new renaissance album, "Everybody Too", seems to be a natural progression from the previous one. I understand that the name came from a party you run back home. Could you tell us more on how that got started-

A. The full title is This is Everybody Too - I know it's a mouth full ) I run the Everybody parties with a team of people that I have been working with for years now, so it's become a real smooth process in which I can really go all out with creative ideas.

Q. The mood and packaging of the first "Everybody" album is light hearted with a fun twist. Should we expect something similar in "Everybody Too"-

A. This time it's more like freakiness on a leash

Q. How did you decide on what tracks were to be selected for your new album-

A. Oh that's a very easy process of first finding all the tracks on the face of the earth, listening through them, subsequently binning them all and starting again on next week's lot, eventually you end up with a couple that pass the grade...

Q. In the early days there were only a few genres of dance music as we know it. Nowadays there are all these sub-genres with the borders between them blurring. Do you think that people are getting themselves pigeon-holed in one sound-

A. I think people get other people pigeonholed in one sound

Q. What gives you the most personal satisfaction while playing a gig-

A. Absolute and utter dancefloor mayhem

Q. I've had the opportunity to hear you play three times, once in Asia and twice in Australia, in different venues. Each time you had the uncanny ability to take your time and slowly build and craft your set into a journey of sound. What goes through your mind when your behind the decks- Do you plan what you're going to play in advance-

A. Thank you! Of course I've always got a few favourites that vary from time to time but other than that no, I respond to the crowds feedback...

Q. Being a DJ and going on tour must take up a lot of your personal time. Is it worth it in the end-

A. My family is very very involved with what I do professionally so my personal time is also my professional time and vice versa. This obviously has some upsides and downsides...

Q. Any last words for your fans in Australia looking forward to your tour with Godskitchen-

A. Wanna come to my party-
