SA DMC Championship Final Results are in

The results are in from the SA heat of the 2004 DMC technics World DJ championships which was held at the Rise nightclub, Light Square on Friday the 23rd of July.

This heat had the highest standard of skills of any so far in 2004. Our roaming judge, DJ Selekt, who has judged all 3 events so far said that all 5 entrants were worthy of a spot at the national final.

The running order on the night was;
Snair
Bets
Kansel
Juice
Sumone

In 1st place, with 12 points, taking home a brand-new Technics SL1200 turntable, a gift bag and voucher from djrecords.com.au, plus the right to represent SA at The Australian Finals in August was DJ Sumone

In 2nd place, with 6 points, winning a pair of the new technics DH-1200 headphones, a Motorola C350 phone, K-Swiss shoes, Ortofon DJ cartridges, Goodies from djrecords.com.au and a Triple J T-shirt was DJ SNAIR.

In 3rd place, with 3 points, winning a pair of the new technics DH-1200 headphones, Ortofon DJ cartridges, Goodies from djrecords.com.au and a Triple J T-shirt was DJ KANSEL

Bets took out 4th place with 2 points


DMC would like to thank all the competitors for their hard work and dedication in preparing for the comp and the judges for their time & effort , David L, Shep, Reflux and DJ Selekt . Also the live acts on the night, Reason, Flak and DJ Dyems plus the number one party-starters FUNKOARS and the mighty Pulling Strings crew. Respect Adelaide for a fantastic night, once again.
