The story first emerged in local magazine Woman's Day, after lingerie model Cindy Butcher claimed she'd shared an illicit joint with the royal rascal, reflecting his continuing vulnerability to bad company. Soon after he was first exposed as a pot fiend by the News of the World in 2002, 'close friend' Susannah Macpherson-Bailey lifted the lid on his social circle in England, in a hard hitting expose on feral Toff delinquency.
"Doing a bit of cannabis and dabbling in underage drinking- That is the norm for Harry's gang," Miss Macpherson-Bailey told the Sunday Times (in January 2002).
"We believe cannabis is less harmful than tobacco, but we all draw a firm line between spliffs (joints) and crack cocaine- there's a world of difference," she added.
