"It's the record I always wanted to make as a kid," said FS song-writer Warren Fischer told Mixmag. "It's substantial."
His comments emerged just as fellow New York fashionistas the Scissor Sisters appear poised to have the biggest electroclash-related hit since Sunglasses At Night, via their Bee Gee-esque disco cover of Pink Floyd 80s anthem Comfortably Numb.
"We've taken a song about downers and heroin and made it into a song about uppers and clubbing," the band told NME this week.
