Paul Van Dyk Leads Love Parade Protest (July 9-11)

Germany's number one DJ Paul Van Dyk is lending his support to a street demonstration in Berlin in two week's time, to protest against the cancellation of this year's Love Parade.

The superstar DJ will be joining NU NRG on a float which will be travelling through the city between 5pm and 10pm on Saturday 10th July (the same time as the original Parade was planned) with two stops planned for demonstrations (featuring music, DJ sets and speeches).

The protest (dubbed 'Fight the power: Club culture versus ignorance' by its organisers Partysan magazine) is expected to draw thousands of dance music fans as will the numerous other special parties and special events taking place in Berlin throughout the weekend.
