Paul Edge's Alien Outer Limits

Englishman in America tech-electro producer and DJ Paul Edge chatted to Skrufff this week and revealed that he genuinely believes in aliens, particularly since discovering the theories of renowned author Neil Freer in his book Breaking The Godspell.

"What Freer maintains is that around 30,000 years ago, the planet was invaded by an alien race called the Nephilim who wanted to mine Earth," Paul suggested.

"They embarked on genetic experiments to see what would be the best animals to mine the Earth, they fused a horse with a bird, hence the winged horse you get in mythology then in the end decided the only thing they could do was splice homus erectus genes with their alien genes, hence the missing link and they 35,000 year jump in evolution.

That's the basic theory, and he argues it in a way that makes you put the book down and say, 'Oh my God.' There's a forewarning on the book saying 'don't read this if you ever want to be the same again'. I was like 'whatever dude', then read it in a night, and didn't get any sleep for a day and a half."

Despite Paul's admittedly unconventional take on the theory of creation, the ex Bournemouth club promoter turned big name US jock is well on his way to building himself a thriving, online empire via www.djpauledge.com and his design company www.tol23.com, staffed entirely be people he connected with on the dance floor of his Outer Limits Club.

"Back in the day, the Outer Limits used alien imagery on all of our flyers," Paul added.

"Our logo was an alien head."
