There are few live acts that fire with as much energy and innovation as Australia's own NuBreed. And now NuBreed deliver their brilliant debut album "The Original". Their philosophy of the "style of no style" is finally defined on this epic journey of filmic electronic soundscapes, superb songwriting and cranking urban rhythms. Including collaborations with Koolism, Andy Page (programming genius behind the likes of Sasha & BT) and Luke Chable, "The Original" also features the captivating new single "One Day" with remixes from Poxy Music, Luke Chable and the Dirty Fours. "One Day" hits clubs and radio nationally prior to the release of the album through Vicious on April 26th, and will be accompanied by a stunning video commissioned from one of Australia's leading video production companies - EXIT films.

"The Original" is a landmark album from this internationally acclaimed Melbourne trio, comprising a mix of songs with rock inspired vocals from lead singer DB, sandwiched between tough breakbeats, twisted basslines, and the occasional flow of hip hop from their MC Mykel and beatboxing from Jase. To cap off the package, their Prodigy-esque track "To Know" taken from the soundtrack to the feature film "One Perfect Day", also features on this album as a special bonus track, along with a limited edition bonus second disc of NuBreed b-sides, remixes and rarities mixed by Australia's No. 1 DJ Phil K.

In their live experience, NuBreed have supported some of the world's biggest mainstream, urban and dance acts including the Black Eyed Peas, Jamiroquai, Fatboy Slim, De La Soul, Junkie XL (aka JXL from Elvis Presley remix fame), Sasha and more. They were also asked to support Groove Armada nationally on their last Australian tour but had to turn it down due to album writing commitments. To mark the release of their new album, NuBreed embark on a national tour of Australia and New Zealand with a brand new live show where they're joined by ex-Wicked Beat Sound System drummer Dave Jizz. NuBreed's remix CV is just as impressive and includes Tiesto (voted world's No.1 DJ), The Crystal Method, and Junkie XL. They were runners up in the 'Best New Artist' category at last year's prestigious Breakspoll awards in the UK, and nominated yet again for 'Best Live Act' at last year's Australian Dance Music Awards.

Don't miss this electrifying debut album from the band that The Crystal Method referred to as "…one of the most inspiring acts out of Australia" - NUBREED!
