New York producer/ DJ Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez has included a track by legendarily dark heavy metal rockers Black Sabbath on his upcoming compilation Life Styles, which is apparently themed around his childhood influences growing up in Brooklyn in the 80s.

The Master At Work's decision to embrace a track by Ozzy Osbourne's original 70s band will surprise those of his fans who associate him with house, hip-hop and Latino, though chatting to Skrufff last Fall, he hinted at a broadening of his choice (though at the time he was discussing his passion for R&B and hip hop).

"I've got two styles of music, good and bad… I can't stand all these labels," said Dope.

"The crowds from our generation have all grown up and there aren't any records around right now that appeal to the younger generations, so they go somewhere else."

His decision to include War Pigs, in particular, could also spark controversy, given the track's strong anti-war lyrical content, vilifying war-mongering politicians (though in contrast the mix CD includes the Jackson Five's I Am Love).
