New York Electro-disko-punk producer/ DJ Larry Tee told Skrufff this week that he's no longer actively involved in next month's massive Ultra Music Festival in Miami, after failing to agree contractual conditions with Ultra's organisers.

"Contrary to the recent story on Skrufff, I'm no longer doing a stage at Ultra," said Larry.

"I'm still very much excited by and supportive of the fact that there's going to be an electro stage at Ultra this year, and I'm grateful that somebody else is taking charge and bringing in electro and punk-funk acts. I believe that The Rapture and Avenue D are playing there, which sounds like fun, I'm more than thrilled for them, I'm sure it's gonna' be a fantastic event."

Larry will be DJing in Miami at Tantra on March 7th and Crobar, March 8th and added he'll still be attending the Ultra Festival as one of the 40,000 revellers expected for the outdoor daytime/ evening event.

"I'm standing by my prediction that it's going to be a case of sunburn waiting to happen, so I'll definitely be the one in dark clothes hanging out underneath the magnolia tree."

Joining The Rapture and Avenue D on the newly named Vice Electro Stage will be Miss Kittin, 2 Many DJs and LCD Soundsystem. Larry himself will be still in Miami for the music conference (he DJs at Tantra on March 7th and Crobar, March 8) and said he'll attending Ultra from the front of the stage.

Larry will also be touring in Europe between May and June , to promote his new compilation CD E2 (Electroclash Volume 2). Interested promoters should email Rod (rod@urbandjs.net)
