"It's the only restaurant in Ibiza serving what can best be described as 'Modern English cuisine' in a style similar to The Ivy or a Marco Pierre White restaurant," said Jules.
"It's a successful thriving business, and since my Judgement Sunday partner Giles and I have found ourselves eating there daily over the past three summers, when the opportunity to take it over came along, we jumped at the chance."
Jules said its location on San Antonio's Sunset strip of bars and restaurants provided him with another convincing reason to enter the restaurant trade.
"Ibiza's sunsets are one of the many factors that distinguish Ibiza from any other Mediterranean destination, adding a spiritual overtone that makes people want to visit time and time again," he said.
"And having an uncle in the shape of Rick Stein means we've always got good advice to call upon (though asking him to perform guest chef duties would probably be stretching the family ties to breaking point)",
Jules also confirmed he has no plans to change the restaurant's name.
I was and remain a huge Clash fan, and we hope the Kasbah rocks, but we didn't name it," he said.
