Crispin J Glover releases a hotly tipped cover of Public Image's This Is Not A Love Song shortly, which could bring sweet vindication for the UK house producer.

The highly rated South Londoner became disillusioned with the house music scene as the 90s concluded, and told Skrufff at the time he was planning to distance himself from it completely.

"I don't want to say it's really cool in the house scene, because it's not, it's full of fucking wankers (idiots- slang Ed) and petty people with very fragile egos," he raged.

"I'm going to surprise a lot of people over the next couple of years, because when you keep somebody down, or really stamp on somebody, then that person either becomes an alcoholic and withdraws or comes back stronger and tougher," he continued.

"You can't keep the good stuff down, man, and I will not be kept down or silenced."

This Is Not A Love Song comes out on One Little Indian shortly and precedes his new album Which Way Is up.
