German Men Fail To Measure Up

A new study of condom use in Germany has revealed that 82% of German men buy the wrong sized prophylactics with one in 3 (34%) buying condoms that are too big.

Condom distribution Vinico persuaded 2,500 locals to measure their erect manhoods, revealing surprising results for the typical Deutsch man.

"The study found the average erect penis size was 14.7 cm (5-3/4 inches)", The Guardian revealed. "With 40 percent of participants reporting lengths between 12 and 15 cm (4-3/4 and 5-7/8 inches)."

The modest sizes are particularly surprising given a similar survey of British men, published by the Office for National Statistics earlier this year.

"Mr Average's penis is only six to seven inches long (15-17cm)," report author Tom Sykes told the Daily Mirror in February. "Many of them are very insecure about themselves and need reassurance."

However, Mr Sykes' findings contradicted those uncovered by an earlier survey featured in the Independent, which examined the increasing popularity of penis enlargement operations in the UK.

"The "normal' flaccid (soft) penis is only 3.5 inches long and 3.9 inches in circumference," the article revealed.

"Erect, it is 5.1 inches long and 4.9 inches in circumference."

Typical Brit blokes going under the knife were reportedly aged between 22 and 37, the Independent added.
