Ferry Corsten- Ibiza's Nice But . . .

Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten chatted to Skrufff this week as he looked forward to DJing at the opening of Judgement Sunday and revealed that he's not a great believer in the 'magic' of Ibiza.

"Ibiza is a nice island with some really gorgeous spots but sometimes people make it sound like it's heaven on Earth, when in reality there are so many other places which are far nicer than Ibiza," said Ferry.

"From a clubbers' point of view I can see what they like it, sure, but there are really nice places elsewhere, I've certainly seen a few."

The superstar trance jock's failure to tap into the White Island's fabled mythical energy could, however, be linked to his continuing refusal set off on 24 hour benders which he said he's yet to experience.

"I tend to stay in Ibiza for a few days but the latest I've been partying there is probably 9am at which point I packed my bags and left," he recalled.

"I always reach that moment when I'm done with the night, no matter how much fun I've had; I'll go and chill out. I may come back later and hook up with everyone again but I'm not interested in doing that 24/36/48 hour, it's really not for me."

Ferry DJs alongside Judge Jules at the opening of Judgement Sunday (June 4) and will almost certainly be dropping his new single It's Time (which is out on Positiva shortly, complete with a Luke Slater remix).
