Drug Free DJ Adores Drugged Up Clubbers

Kings Of Convenience balladeer turned upcoming electro-disco DJ Erlend Oye claimed chemically enhanced clubbers make the best crowds, in a revealing interview in the Daily Telegraph this week.

"It's great to DJ for people who are on ecstasy," Erlend claimed, "You can just play any record and they go crazy and you think, Oh I'm great. But you're not. They'll just dance to anything."

The Norwegian indie star recently released a mix CD for K7's acclaimed DJ Kicks compilation series though chatting to Skrufff recently, admitted he's never been tempted to take any drugs himself.

"There are so many great things about life that I wouldn't want to risk and taking drugs is a risk," he explained.

"Perhaps after you've taken them you'll no longer be able to feel emotions that you've always felt before, because the drugs have fucked you up, which to me is too big a gamble."
