Drama Fill Canvas With Sex & Burlesque (March 13)

Polysexual electro/house monthly Drama moves to Canvas next weekend for a night themed around 'seduction, sexual exploitation and titillation," club promoter Terry Church told Skrufff this week.

"Speaking as a gay man, I find women are so powerful in every way and I adore it when they use their sex appeal and ooze sexuality to make men succumb to them," he explained, "and that's exactly what will be happening on the night, honestly."

Visual stimulation is being provided by the likes of fetish favourites Gob Sausage and Empress Stah and burlesque stripper Gwendoline ('she's a dirty, teasing bitch and I love her- I mean that as a compliment,' said Terry) with music coming from DJs including John Taylor, Napsugar (Berlin) and Jeffrey Hinton.

"The Berlin Burlesque theme works for straight men, gay men, straight women, whatever," Terry suggested, 'because everyone loves a beautiful female body."

Hundreds of clubbers were locked out of last month's over-subscribed party at Egg, prompting Terry to stress that dressing up with verve will definitely smooth entry.

"Everyone's welcome but priority is always given to those who make the effort. Drama's about dressing up, showing off, being adored, exploring and just getting on with it," he stressed.

"We want to attract special people."

The Skrufff London team absolutely loved last month's Drama and highly recommend this one (though early arrival and dressing over the top are virtually essential!)
