The strain of virus that caused an outbreak in June this year has been reported to be still lurking in the atmosphere. The unusual condition was discovered when people were seeking medical attention due to 'losing total control' of their limbs and experienced desperate urges to let loose on dancefloors around the globe.

The condition aptly named 'the cutfunk buzz' has been a reaction to minimal-esque sounds and is said to be very widespread. From Munich to the Motor City, reaching across to Chicago and back to Cologne, infecting Berlin and stretching all the way to Melbourne city and beyond.

So far, the relief rate is high, with organisations and individuals around the globe providing sounds and musical havens to satisfy the urge. From Pokerflat to Playhouse, Force Inc to Perlon, Ricardo Villalobos to Luciano, Basic Channel to Klang, Classic to Cadenza, 7th City to Trapeze: the list goes on.

Honkytonks have once again been contacted by the Oz Centre for Disease Control in Australia to help with another dose of temporary relief for those experiencing minimal-esque aches and pains. So on Friday 29th October, Honkytonks is teaming up with a new crew in town - Data on Dub - to allow for some low-slung therapy and a bit of 'let loose action' on the dancefloor. The Dub lab will include vibe scientists Midget Fidget, FOAL LIVE, Damian Laird, Mike Callander and Ben Cromack.
