Danny Rampling Launches New London Night (May 1)

UK house legend Danny Rampling is launching a new bi-monthly residency at London's The Cross this May, kicking off with guest DJs Dave Lee (aka Joey Negro) and New York veteran DJ Romain (of Limelight, Tunnel fame).

The Shroom pioneer and original acid house DJ is calling his new night Union and will be playing a three hour set aimed at 'people who are passionate about house music', he says on his newly revamped website . He's also certain to be on top form, given his recent break prompted by the birth of his first baby (Claudio was born on January 24 prompting him to take a rare 6 week break).

"It's such a huge industry these days and it you don't keep on top of it and work hard and put the effort in then you fall by the wayside," Danny told Skrufff 18 months ago.

"There's a serious amount of competition out there which is far more aggressive than it used to be. At first it was all about unity whereas now it's about the business so you have to work very hard all the time."
